1910 Zebra Type A Runabout

The 1910 Zebra Type A Runabout was a small, lightweight automobile produced by the Zebra Automobile Company of Detroit, Michigan. It was powered by a four-cylinder engine with an output of 20 horsepower, and featured a two-speed planetary transmission. The Type A Runabout had a top speed of around 35 miles per hour and could seat two passengers.

The car was known for its distinctive zebra-like striped paint scheme, which was achieved by using a stencil and spraying alternating black and white stripes onto the body of the car. The Zebra Automobile Company produced only a few hundred cars before going out of business in 1912.

Today, the 1910 Zebra Type A Runabout is a rare and sought-after collector's item, with examples occasionally appearing at classic car auctions and in private collections.
