The 13/30 hp replaced two top-of-the-range models from the manufacturer. After just one year, it was further developed and built as 14/30 hp, 14/34 hp, 14/38 hp and 14/48 hp for another 11 years.
The 13/30 hp was a huge car that could easily be seen by the clientele it was designed for. Its dimensions were very opulent and it was equipped with the greatest comfort available for a luxury car. So was z. B. a Pullman sedan of this type about 2.5 m high.
The car had a side-mounted four - cylinder in - line engine with 3308 cc, the 30 hp (22 kW) at 1550 / min. made. While the basic engine was made of aluminum alloy , the cylinder covers were cast iron . The engine was water cooled. The engine power was transmitted via a leather cone clutch, a manual four-speed gearbox and a propeller shaft with two joints to the rear axle. Thus, the car reached a top speed of 70 km / h.
On the steel U-profile frame, the two rigid axles were suspended on three-quarter elliptical longitudinal leaf springs. Only at the rear wheels there were band brakes.
The car was available as a two-seat Phaeton , as a four-seat touring car , as a four-door Pullman sedan , as just such a Landaulet or as a two-door coupe .
