1946 Delahaye 135 MS Pourtout

1946 Delahaye 135 MS Pourtout Coupé Aérodynamique

Using the top-of-the range Delahaye 135 MS chassis, Claude Pourtout created this striking Coupé Aérodynamique for the 1946 Paris Auto Salon. It was inspired by and a tribute to the pre-War creations of longtime Pourtout designer Georges Paulin, who had tragically lost his life while working for the British Intelligence during the War. Beautifully restored, it was shown by the current, American owner at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. It placed second in class and also won the 'Vitesse - Elegance Trophy'.
