The Austin Motor Company Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles that was founded in 1905 by Herbert Austin. The company was based in Longbridge, Birmingham, England, and produced a range of vehicles from small cars to luxury saloons.

In 1952, the Austin Motor Company merged with Morris Motors Limited to form the British Motor Corporation (BMC). The company continued to produce cars under the Austin brand until the early 1970s, when it was phased out in favor of the more successful and recognizable BMC brand.
