The 13/30 hp replaced two upper-class models from the manufacturer. Already after one year it was developed further and built as 14/30 HP, 14/34 HP, 14/38 HP and 14/48 HP for another 11 years.
The 13/30 hp was a massive car that was easy to see the clientele for which it was designed. Its dimensions were very opulent and it was equipped with the greatest comfort that was then available for a luxury car. So z. B. a Pullman limousine of this type about 2.5 m high.
The car had a side-controlled four - cylinder in - line engine with 3308 cm³ displacement, the 30 HP (22 kW) at 1550 / min. made. While the basic engine consisted of an aluminum alloy , the cylinder covers were made of cast iron . The engine was water-cooled. The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via a leather cone clutch, a manual four-speed gearbox and a cardan shaft with two joints. The car reached a top speed of 70 km / h.
The two rigid axles were suspended from the steel U-profile frame by three-quarter elliptical longitudinal leaf springs. There were only band brakes on the rear wheels.
The car was available as a two-seater Phaeton , as a four-seater touring car , as a four-door Pullman limousine , as a landaulet or as a two-door coupe .
