1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000

1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 Coachwork by Design by Giorgetto Giugiaro

Agile, eager, and light, the 105/115 coupe is an inherently ideal driver's car regardless of year, model, or precise specification, though fuel-injected North American spec GTV 1750's and GTV 2000's can be particularly rewarding.

First fitted to U.S. market 1969 GTV 1750's, Alfa subsidiary SPICA's mechanical injection required less frequent tuning than the Weber carbs fitted to European spec cars, and initially offered a substantial bump in power to boot, though by 1971 the playing field was leveled at about 130 hp for both carbureted and injected GTV 2000's. SPICA was only ever fitted to cars bound for North America.
