2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet Edition 918 Spyder

The facelifted version of the 997 Turbo was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show. It received a completely new 3.8 liter engine generating a maximum power output of 500 bhp, thanks to a revised BorgWarner variable turbine geometry (VTG) turbochargers, while the optional 7-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox replaced the Tiptronic. For its most discerning customers, Porsche turned the dial up to 11 and introduced the Turbo S model. The king of the hill Turbo S increased the horsepower to a tire scorching 530, while making all of the must have options standard. Some of those standard options include the 7-Speed PDK gearbox, Sport Chrono package, Porsche Torque Vectoring, dynamic engine mounts, aggressive carbon-ceramic brakes. The Turbo S also had some more material changes like a modified front-suspension geometry, which gives the car more precise steering allowing the driver better control at triple digit speeds.
